Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, The Medical Education and Research Department has set up Placement Cell to facilitate the Pharmacists in getting a suitable job. It was disclosed here today by Mr. Anil Joshi, Medical Education and Research Minster.
Divulging further details Mr. Joshi said that this Placement Cell has been set up by the Punjab Pharmacy Council to help the students with 60% or more marks, in getting the rewarding jobs in the renowned companies. He said that for this purpose the department has established a close coordination with the Hospitals and Medical Institutions. He said that the effort of the Department in this direction has borne fruits as some students got the placements in Fortis Hospital. The Minister said that the pharmacist desirous of getting placements could send their applications on Placement Performa available at the official website and in office.
Mr. Joshi further said that Pharmacy Council under “Ik Thandrust ate Kehdda Punjab Mission” has generated apple to the youth of the Punjab to shun the use of drugs and exercise Yoga and Games to make the state prosperous, healthy & wealthy .He said that Pharmacy Council has also written to all the SSPs to bring all those pharmacists to books who are found in selling prohibited and narcotics drugs.
