After showcasing the Pebble 2 and Time 2 on Kickstarter, the company has now re-branded the devices. The Pebble 2 without a heart rate sensor is named as the Pebble 2 SE, while the one with the heart rate sensor is called the Pebble 2 + Heart Rate.
The Pebble 2 + Heart Rate will be selling at a price of $129.99 (approx Rs 8,700) and will be available in five colours, while the Pebble SE is priced at $99.99 (approx 6,700) and will ship in Jet Black colour will be available in November.
The heart sensor allows users to monitor their heart rate while performing several physical activities. The smartwatch is also optimised to use with the Pebble health app and also works with the integrated Workout app.
The battery on the Pebble 2 claims to offer up to seven days on a single charge, allowing users to track there sleeping patterns. The smartwatch also provides water resistance up to 30 meters. It also allows notifications from other apps on the smartphone. Both smartwatches are identical, the only difference being the heart sensor on the Pebble 2 + Heart Rate.
