Chandigarh, Punjab Dairy Development Board (PDDB) has invited applications for Dairy Training Course in five districts with a view to educate farmers about growing benefits in dairy profession. The farmers can get the scientific and modern training at five centres in the state.
Giving Details, a spokesperson said that Dairy Development, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Mr. Gulzar Singh Ranike has finalised the schedule of proposed training program for the expansion of Dairy farming in the state. He said that 45 days Dairy Entrepreneurship Training course would be started from October 13, 2014 at Dairy Training and Extension Centers, Bija (Ludhiana), Chttamli (Ropar), Verka (Amritsar), Gill (Moga) and Abul Khurana (Sri Mukatsar Sahib). The Training Course would be on the basis of ‘first come first serve’ and the selection committee would interview the eligible candidates on September 22, 2014.
He further said that besides, giving knowledge on different techniques of dairy farm management, the candidates would be imparted training in artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis and milk handling etc. Interested candidates can contact at District offices or concerned Dairy Training and Extension Centres or log on website www.pddb.in.
