Several downtown streets have been closed after a pane of glass fell from a balcony on Wednesday morning.
The glass fell from the balcony of a building on Simcoe Street north of Adelaide Street just before 8 a.m.
The balcony was located in the vicinity of the 25th floor, police say.
No injuries were reported, however police have closed parts of Simcoe Street, Nelson Street and Duncan Street as a precaution.
As well, the nearby Shangri-La Hotel has been asked to not let people in and out of its Simcoe Street doors.
According to police, a large shard of glass is still hanging from the balcony.
