New Delhi: Pakistani origin singer Salma Agha was on Monday granted lifetime Indian Visa, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The actress met Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Monday to discuss the matter. The meeting was held at 3.30 pm.
Salma Agha, who was born in Pakistan, has her roots in India. Her grandmother Anwari Begum was the wife of legendary actor Jugal Kishore Mehra. Her mother, Nasreen Agha has acted in many Indian films and she has won many awards during her acting career.
Salma is currently living in United Kingdom. She has sang many songs in the bollywood movies including ‘Nikaah’. Her song ‘Dil ke armaan aansuo mei beh gaye’ won her Filmfare award.
