Shahkot, May 10
Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Thursday said the opposition is not bothered about the future of Punjab, and was indulging in undue criticism.
He was addressing the media after a rally here in support of the party candidate Hardev Singh Laddi.
On some of the dissidents not attending the rally, the CM said a few people did not matter as the stage was already at the breaking point.
Laddi delivered a fiery speech at the rally, lashing out against those trying to get his ticket cancelled and thanking the CM for reposing faith in him despite the odds.
Laddi said he was sure of a clean chit out of the controversy.
He said he is all set to change two decades of history of Shahkot. The seat has been with the Akalis for the past 21 years.
