Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, In a novel protest, the Punjab civil secretariat employees today resorted to begging and deposited the entire amount in the office of Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal to register protest against anti-employees policy of the state government.
They were led by Punjab civil secretariat staff association president and convenor of joint front of employees Sukhchain Singh Khehra.
They gathered at the main entrance of the secretariat in the morning and placed a teddy bear along with picture of Badal and a begging bowl at the gate to collect alms.
