Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, September 4: The State Election Commission, Punjab, has today issued notification with regard to the Zila Parishad and the Panchayat Samiti elections. The to file nominations also began today but noone turned up to file nominations for Zila Parishad on dayone but three nominations had been filed for Panchayat Samiti.
Disclosing this here today a Spokesperson of Office of the State Election Commission, Punjab, said that the last date for filing of nominations is 7th September. The nominations would be scrutinised on 10th September and the candidates could withdraw their nominations till 11th September. The polling would be held on the 19th of September from 8 AM till 4 PM and the counting would be held on 22nd September.
