Congress veteran P Chidambaram on Thursday said non-BJP parties will form the next government and the BJP’s claims of a full majority were hollow.
“Who whistles in the dark? Only those who are in fear. Fearing defeat, the BJP is making wild claims of winning 300+ seats. After six phases of polling, it is absolutely clear that the next government will be formed by non-BJP parties, including the Congress,” said Chidambaram.
He said the BJP is proving time and again that it has contempt for regional identities, history, culture and aspirations. People will give a fitting answer.
