Motorola is set to unveil a new 5G smartphone in India soon. The Moto G84 5G recently got an official launch date in India. Additionally, a dedicated microsite for the G84 5G has already gone live on Flipkart.
The microsite confirms several key Moto G84 5G specifications, providing an in-depth look at the device. However, the one thing missing is the Moto G84 5G price in India. But that information has now been revealed by tipster Yogesh Brar.
Moto G84 5G Launch Date, Expected Pricing in India
According to Brar, the Moto G84 5G price in India will range between Rs 22,000 and Rs 24,000, although the tipster hasn’t confirmed the memory variant. However, we believe that this will likely be the price of the base variant of the device, which could feature 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The top-end variant of the Moto G84 5G with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will likely cost around Rs 25,000 to Rs 26,000. Motorola has confirmed that the Moto G84 5G launch in India will take place on September 1. Moreover, the device will go on sale through Flipkart after its launch in the country.

The Moto G84 5G has confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with the Adreno G619 GPU. However, this does come as a shame as the competition from iQOO, OnePlus, and Realme, all use superior chipsets in this range. Moreover, the chipset on the G84 5G will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
The Moto G84 5G sports a 10-bit 6.55-inch pOLED display with an impressive peak brightness of 1,300 nits. Moreover, the panel supports HDR10+ and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The screen also features a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset also packs a stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos and Moto Spatial Sound support.
For optics, the Moto G84 5G gets a dual-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP primary sensor that supports OIS. The main camera is paired with an 8 MP ultrawide (Macro Vision + Depth Camera). Up front, the G84 5G opts for a 16 MP selfie camera. The Moto G84 5G will pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
Moto G84 5G Design, Software
The device runs near-stock version of Android 13. Motorola has promised that the G84 5G will get the Android 14 update and a further three years of security updates. The phone offers business grade security with Lenovo’s ThinkShield for mobile.
The Moto G84 5G arrives in Viva Magenta, Marshmallow Blue, and Midnight Blue colour options. Additionally, the Viva Magenta variant will feature a vegan leather finish on the back. Lastly, the Moto G84 5G also comes with an IP54 rating for a water-repellent design.
