Modi At Rozgar Mela: PM To Distribute Appointment Letters To 71,000 Recruits Tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will issue about 71,000 appointment letters to new hires via video conference on Tuesday as part of the government’s “Rozgar Mela” (employment fair), according to his office, news agency PTI reported.

The drive, according to the Prime Minister’s Office, is a step towards achieving his commitment to giving employment generation highest priority. It is anticipated to be a catalyst in creating more jobs and giving youth meaningful opportunities for their empowerment and direct participation in national development.

75,000 individuals received appointment letters earlier in October.

At 45 sites throughout the nation, with the exception of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, where the Model Code of Conduct is in effect, appointment letters will be physically distributed.

He said that in addition to the categories of positions already filled, openings are also being made for instructors, lecturers, nurses, nursing officers, physicians, pharmacists, radiographers, and other technical and paramedical positions. The Ministry of Home Affairs is filling a sizable number of positions in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).

According to the office, Modi would also introduce the Karmayogi Prarambh module.

The module is an online training programme for all newly appointed employees in different government agencies. A code of conduct for government employees, workplace ethics and integrity, human resource policies, and other benefits and allowances would be included, it was said. These things will help them get used to the rules and settle into their new responsibilities without any trouble.

To further develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities, they will also have the chance to explore additional courses on the igotkarmayogi.gov.in platform, according to the statement.

Modi in June had instructed many government agencies and departments to hire 10 lakh workers in “mission mode” during the course of the following 18 months.
