Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh

Elections to the Ludhiana municipal corporation are scheduled to be held on February 24. By-polls for wards of as many as 27 local bodies will also be held on the same day.
As per the poll schedule of state election commission, counting of votes for Ludhiana MC polls will be on February 27. On the other hand, counting in the wards of other local bodies will be February 24 itself.
The nomination process for the civic body polls is scheduled to begin on February 8 while the model code of conduct will be enforced from today — February 1.
