New Delhi: Even as Pakistan is denying that the terrorist captured in Udhampur attack is not their own and has asked for proofs as to his nationality, terrorist’s father has contacted an Indian newspaper, saying he and his family would be killed by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Pakistan’s army.
Identifying himself as Yaqub, the man said he was the “unfortunate father” of the attacker Naved.
“I’ll be killed. The Lashkar is after us and the fauj is after us,” Mohammad Yakub told Hindustan Times in chaste Punjabi.
“You are calling from India. We’ll be killed. I am the unfortunate father,” he told the newpaper.
“The Lashkar is after us. They probably wanted him dead and not caught alive. Please spare him,” Yakub said.
