New Delhi: Indian ODI skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Thursday received a notice from Jharkhand State Housing Board for being wrongly allotted land.
Dhoni was allotted land by the government in the Harmu Housing Colony. He was then given another vacant plot next to the already allotted land.
The 34-year-old was previously in the news in this land allotment case, but it is the first time he has been sent a notice in this matter.
However, the housing board officials have kept this issue confidential for now. Most of the senior officials have refrained from speaking to the media on the matter, while some of them have even switched off their mobile phones.
It is alleged that the entire process of plot allotment was incorrect, which has compelled the Housing board to even cancel several allotments.
Housing Board ‘s new managing director Dilip Jha based on complaints has now issued a notice to Dhoni.
