BJP need no lesson from Congress that has to its credit a long list of scams
Chandigarh: Justifying the action taken on the BJP Ferozepur unit president Jagtar Singh Katora and Yuva Morcha president Jimmy Sandhu, Punjab Cabinet Minister Anil Joshi has said that Punjab BJP President Kamal Sharma has done what a party president should have.
In a statement issued here today, Joshi said that the promptness shown by Kamal Sharma in taking action was with a sole intent to curtail corruption and criminalisation in the politics, which is really commendable. “By taking action against Katora and Sandhu, the State BJP president has saved the party from trouble that may affect BJP in the future”, said Joshi. The Cabinet Minister also said that BJP never tolerates criminalization and corruption and by taking action against two partymen, Kamal Sharma has vindicated the party stand. Ridiculing the Congress party for demanding resignation of Kamal Sharma, the Minister said, “BJP need no lesson from a party like Congress that has to its credit a long list of scams from Bofors to Coalgate.” Anil Joshi said that party firms stands behind Kamal Sharma and his commitment for a clean and honest approach towards the state politics.
