Chandigarh, November 7 (Punjabupdate.com ): Terming the demonetization of the BJP led NDA government as an organized loot, the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) and Lok Sabha MP Mr. Sunil Jakhar today said that the voters of Himachal Pradesh would teach BJP a lesson for this sin.
Addressing the gathering during election campaign of Congress candidate from Darang Thakur Kaul Singh, the PPCC Chief said that the economic policies of the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi were detrimental for the country. He said that nothing has been achieved from the demonitisation except the undue harassment of general public. Mr Jakhar said that there was no benefit of this move whereas people faced a lot of inconvenience due to it.
The PPCC chief said that the country’s economy got a second major blow after ‘intelligence deficit’ centre government introduced GST without any planning. He said that the government do not have any expertise to tackle the fiscal affairs due to which economy of the country has derailed. Mr Jakhar said that due to these regressive policies the Tourism industry of Himachal Pradesh has suffered adversely and there was huge frustration amongest the traders.
The PPCC Chief said that the BJP was aware that it would be routed from the Himachal Pradesh polls due to which PM and other top BJP leaders were camping in the devbhoomi. He said people were aware that sweet coated speeches of PM were in reality the biggest danger to the country and they would out rightly reject the BJP in these polls. He also slammed the BJP leaders for stooping too low by vitiating the political atmosphere of the state.
