ISL a success, but no game-changer

2015_12$largeimg22_Tuesday_2015_015208906Margao, Taking a strong exception to the brawl that followed the final between FC Goa and Chennaiyin FC on Sunday, the Indian Super League today referred the matter to its disciplinary committee. In a late night development yesterday, Goa police arrested Elano Blumer, captain of Chennaiyin FC, for allegedly assaulting FC Goa co-owner Dattaraj Salgaoncar. He was later released on bail.
Srinivas Dempo, the second co-owner of Goa, who was present during the incident, said Elano came out of the team dugout and started making fun of the FC Goa players. When Salgaocar objected, Elano assaulted him.
