Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
New Delhi, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh today invited industrialists to invest in Punjab and assured them of providing all basic facilities to do business.Amarinder said ever since he took over as the CM, he had been promoting industries and agriculture as these sectors were ruined by the previous SAD-BJP government. Capt Amarinder said this during a felicitation function organised by Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi) president Paramjit Singh Sarna here this evening to welcome him as the CM of Punjab.On the occasion, Sarna urged the CM not to spare those who insulted the Guru Granth Sahib, ordered police firing on agitators and involved in drug peddling in the state. Capt Amarinder said his government aimed at restoring the glory of Punjab ruined by the Parkash Singh Badal-led SAD-BJP regime.
