Murali Vijay and Wriddhiman Saha have been ruled out of India’s final Test against Sri Lanka. The two teams are currently locked in an intense battle at the P. Sara Oval, where the hosts are struggling to hold on for a draw.
Vijay’s right hamstring problem, which ruled him out of the first Test, flared up once again. He scored a gritty 82 in India’s second innings while Saha, who scored back-to-back fifties, has sustained a lower right hamstring injury.
Karun Nair, who had a good stint with India A recently and Naman Ojha have been named replacements. The third Test starts at the SSC, Colombo from August 28.
