INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATED IN PUNJAB CONGRESS BHAWAN

Chandigarh: August 15, 2015: 69th Independence Day was celebrated in Punjab Congress Bhawan Chandigarh with traditional gaiety and fervor. S. Partap Singh Bajwa President PPCC hoisted the National Flag while a troop of Punjab Police and Congress Sewa Dal volunteers offered salute to the National Flag.

In his address S. Partap Singh Bajwa called upon the Party rank and file to fight for protecting the unity and integrity of the country which our fore-fathers achieved after making lot of sacrifices. He asked the Congress workers to go to the masses to apprise them of the policies and programmes of the Party. He asserted that Congress will stand to protect the interests of poor and the down-trodden and fight the communal forces of Akali BJP tooth and nail.
