Lenovo has launched a line up of products at the IFA 2018 in Berlin via its Lenovo Tech Life 2018 event. The array of devices consist of consumers PCs, Chromebooks, commercial PCs, gaming products, smart home essentials and AR-related product.
Lenovo smart home essentials is a new range of connected devices that are meant to offer a simple, one-stop shop for a smarter, more intelligent home. Lenovo’s family of connected home essentials – and the recently launched Lenovo Smart Display – signal the company’s growing and multiplatform AI ecosystem.
The Lenovo Link app serves as a centralized control center to set up and manage all applicable devices. Users can control specific groups of devices at once or automate them to make certain actions at specific times during the day. Lenovo smart essentials include smart plug, smart camera and smart bulb.
Lenovo’s premium Yoga consumer PC portfolio is powered by 8th Gen Intel Core processors. The Yoga C930 is Lenovo’s flagship Windows 10 consumer 2-in-1 laptop, debuting the rotating sound bar with Dolby Atmos Speaker System. It supports Dolby Vision HDR and a Garaged Pen that charges in its compartment.
Powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 850 mobile computing platform, the Yoga C630 WOS has integrated LTE Advanced Pro5 with up to 25+ hours of local video playback, as claimed by Lenovo.
Lenovo’s new ThinkPad X1 Extreme comes with NVIDIA GeForce graphics and the 8th Gen Intel Core processors featuring integrated Gigabit Wi-Fi, which includes Core i9.
The multi-monitor support enables multitasking and RapidCharge technology charges the battery up to 80 per cent in just 60 minutes, as per Lenovo. It gets 4K Adobe RGB color gamut display with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio.
Jedi challenges will receive a Dark Side Expansion, a new, free content update that allows fans to play through new challenges as Kylo Ren – dueling Yoda, Rey and more in AR.
Other new Lenovo products launched at the IFA 2018 include Yoga S730, Yoga Chromebook, Lenovo Chromebook C330, Lenovo Chromebook S330, Lenovo L27 Monitor, Lenovo Legion Y530, Laptop with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 upgrade, Lenovo Legion T730 and C730 level up and Lenovo Legion 15.6-inch Recon Gaming Backpack.
