Huawei has quietly launched the Huawei Nova 10 SE, a midrange Android smartphone that will succeed the Nova 9 SE. The smartphone has some decent specifications such as a 6.67″ Full HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 108MP primary rear camera, and much more.
The Huawei Nova 9 SE was launched last year. The smartphone did not arrive in India. However, French smartphone brand Wiko launched the Wiko 5G, which is essentially the Huawei Nova 9 SE meant for the international markets. It is possible that Wiko may rebrand the Huawei Nova 10 SE and sell it outside China.
Huawei Nova 10 SE Specifications, Features
The Huawei Nova 10 SE is technically the successor of the Huawei Nova 9 SE. However, Huawei has made a few noticeable upgrades, while keeping most of the specifications unchanged.
The Huawei Nova 10 SE has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, up to 90Hz refresh rate, and 270Hz touch sampling rate. Last year’s Huawei Nova 9 SE has an IPS LCD screen of the same dimensions.
Huawei has embedded the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU inside the Huawei Nova 10 SE, also present in the Nova 9 SE. The smartphone will be available with 8GB RAM, and buyers can choose between 128GB and 1256GB of internal storage.
The Huawei Nova 10 SE has a triple camera setup on the back, comprising a 108 MP 1/1.56″ primary camera (f/1.9 aperture), an 8 MP Ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture), and a 2 MP macro camera (f/2.4 aperture). There’s a 16 MP front-facing camera (f/2.2 aperture) for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.
Huawei has embedded a 4500mAh battery inside the Huawei Nova 10 SE, supporting 66W Huawei SuperCharge wired fast charging. The smartphone has a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, and an NFC chip, but it seems to lack a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Huawei Nova 10 SE Price, Availability
The Huawei Nova 10 SE is available in Silver, Mint Green, and Gold with Black colors. The phone has been launched in China.
Huawei hasn’t confirmed if the Huawei Nova 10 SE will launch outside China. The indicative price of the smartphone is 1999 Yuan (approx. US$ 289 / ₹23,805). It is important to note that the Snapdragon 680 SoC does not have a 5G modem, which limits the Huawei Nova 10 SE to 4G networks.
