HC directs Punjab police to file FIR against self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa

Chandigarh, 5 Sep: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed the Punjab Police to file an FIR against self styled God woman Radhe Maa.

The court action came in complaint file by former Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) member Surender Mittal. In his complaint Mittal had claimed that Radhe Maa had been constantly warning him to not speak against her.
He had earlier recorded a telephonic conversation with her and given it to various TV channels.
The self-styled god woman had first landed in trouble the when a woman from Mumbai alleged that the godwoman made her husband’s family tortured her mentally and physically.
