Harper to make transit announcement in Toronto

Prime Minister Stephen Harper is reportedly set to make a major transit-related announcement in Toronto Thursday afternoon.
Harper will be joined by Finance Minister Joe Oliver and Mayor John Tory for the announcement, which will be made at the TTC’s Hillcrest Complex, located at 1138 Bathurst Street.
Citing a senior federal government source, The Toronto Sun says that the prime minister will be announcing details of a significant infrastructure investment.
The news conference is scheduled for 2:45 p.m.
