OTTAWA — After spending the first week of the election campaign selling his party, NDP leader Tom Mulcair is going to spend a little time today trying to sell a few books.
Mulcair is in Toronto today for the launch of a book on his life.
“Strength of Conviction” tells the story of Mulcair’s life and the values that have shaped his political career.Prime Minister Stephen Harper is also in the vote rich Greater Toronto Area today to make an announcement that his campaign is touting as pertaining to the promotion of Canadian values on the world stage.
The leaders of the three biggest parties are expected to spend much of the marathon election campaign in Canada’s largest urban-area, where there are turnover possibilities in a number of ridings.
Liberal leader Justin Trudeau is spending the day in Montreal with two campaign events scheduled.
Bloc Quebecois leader Gilles Duceppe is in the Montreal suburb of Terrebonne for a party fundraiser.
