Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, S. Partap Singh Bajwa strongly condemned the incidence which happened between the SDM Fatehgarh Sahib and S. Kuljit Singh Nagra. He said that he had inquired from his sources that S. Nagra did not use any abusive language against the SDM.
S. Bajwa strongly condemned the action of the officer when she told people to directly contact her, instead of approaching their elected representative from the area.
Coming strongly in support of the MLA, he said that we are living in a democratic country and people choose their representatives. People are completely justified to approach their MLAs for getting their problems addressed.
S. Bajwa asked the CM Punjab to direct the officers to give due respect to the Congress MLAs and do away with the illegal and undemocratic system of Halqa Incharges who have usurped the powers of MLAs and shattered the fabric of democracy.
He requested the young officers to keep their balance at work even though they are under tremendous pressure from the Akali-BJP government for carrying out their unreasonable orders.
