Chandigarh, Congress Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha Capt Amarinder Singh today hailed the Congress Legislature Party’s decision to bring in a “no-confidence motion” against the Akali-BJP government, saying the latter had lost the confidence of the people. He asked the BJP to move beyond a “symbolic dissent” against the government. “This is the time to support the Congress’ no-confidence motion. If you fail to do so, you will stand exposed,” he told the BJP.He said while the issue of drug trafficking was the most important, there were other issues too that called for attention, such as the economic downslide.“It will be in the fitness of things that Badal makes a graceful exit rather than being shown the door with more skeletons certain to tumble out of his government’s cupboard,” he said.
