* Mandatory for all departments to hold one meeting every quarter
Chandigarh,The Punjab Government has asked all the departments furnish the detailed report of the proceedings of State Advisory Committees duly constituted.
Disclosing this here a spokesperson of the Parliamentary Affairs department said that the State government has constituted the State Advisory Committees for the year 2014-15. He said that it is mandatory to conduct one meeting in every 3 months. He also made it clear that as per rules, one meeting of advisory committees must also be convened during assembly session and one in between the time period between the 2 sessions.
The spokesperson also said that all the departments have been asked to take prior instructions from Chairman of State Advisory Committee for the purpose of finalizing the venue, date and time of the meeting and proceedings of the meeting must also be intimated to Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department.
