Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, September 30: The Punjab Government has issued a letter to all departments to ensure that due respect should be given to all Legislative members and Members of Parliament as per protocol.
Disclosing this here, an official spokesman said that these orders were issued after noticing that in some government departments were not paying due attention to the official communiqué of MLAs and MPs. He said this was clear contravention of Governments previous orders, thus, would not be tolerated in future.
Spokesman said that Government has issued strict instructions to all departments’ heads to respect the authority of people’ representatives and do the needful at the earliest.
