Get Instant Tethering on your Android with Google

Google

Google launched a new version of Google Play Services recently and with it came a new feature called Instant Tethering that ensures all your devices stay online always. Austrian journalist Andreas Proschofsky posted a few screenshots on his Google+ account that confirms that the new feature is out.

Users with a Google account can now create a hotspot connection to an Android device that has mobile data. This is a limited roll-out so not all users may have access to the new feature.

As reported by Android Police, only Nexus and Pixel smartphone running the latest Android Nougat 7.1.1 can gain access to it.
