He believes that time has come for India to reach at par as far as technology is concerned. He said, “I’m quite honored to be the part of this convocation and also, for receiving a Doctorate degree. I am the son of soil who belongs to Ludhiana. I have started with a small unit of bicycles and initiated few other businesses after graduation and the rest is the history. What you need is fresh ideas. The students who are receiving degrees today are the future pillars of nation and I wish them to come up with latest notions of technology. Today, banks are fully supporting the tech-savvy ideas. You just need to step out of your comfort zone.”
He further said, “We need to ensure that restless citizens must avail all the basic facilities and technology can play a vital role in achieving this target. In India, there are about 85000 branches of banks and according to me, this number is sufficient enough to compete with other developed nations at par. If the upcoming generation is delivered with all the facilities through technology then I’m sure that in coming future India will be known as ‘Global’ India. PTU is on the right track and I am pleased to know that students here are getting those necessary facilities which are quite essential for the growth of country.”
