Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Ludhiana, Four kids allegedly died in the civil hospital here within no time after delivery creating tension as the parents turned angry over what they described as the negligence by the staff.
The families of these women alleged that in the absence of the gynaecologist, the deliveries were facilitated by class IV employees which has been denied by the doctors who took the plea that these babies had died in the womb and were delivered dead.
The ASHA workers also staged demonstration against this alleged negligence by the hospital staff holding the doctors responsible for this criminal negligence.
These women include Sarabjit Kaur from village Mangat, Reena from village Chauta near Pakhowal, Vandana from Ayali kalan and Jaswinder kaur from Pakhowal.
All the kids were male. One of the unborn child had passed stools in the womb of the mother itself which blocked his mouth.
