Chandigarh, October 11: Former Punjab DGP Sumedh Singh Saini today got relief in case of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib from the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
The court directed the state government to issue one week’s notice before arresting him.
Saini had sought relief in the context of Justice Ranjit Singh Commission report on sacrilege.
The court issued notice to the state government.
