Facing crisis, Badal reverts to Panthic agenda: Capt

captMuktsar, Congress Deputy Leader in Lok Sabha Capt Amarinder Singh today said that Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal after having failed to maintain law and order in the state was again pursuing the Panthic agenda.
Capt Amarinder said the people had two choices before them. They could either opt for economic progress and development or the Panthic agenda. Capt Amarinder had come here to inaugurate the office of Muktsar MLA Karan Kaur Brar. Amarinder further said, “Badal has failed on all fronts, be it wheat procurement, law and order, economy, industry or agriculture.”
Amarinder further said, “The only thing Badal has succeeded at is amassing personal wealth and fortune.” He told party workers to get ready to campaign against the state government’s misrule. “Tusi hun daanga chak lao, mein vi tuhade naal chukkunga (all of us will fight against the government’s exploitation of the people),” he said.
Meanwhile, he lambasted the state government for failing to lift wheat from mandis on time. “An amount of Rs 14,640 crore cash credit limit was sanctioned and released by the Reserve Bank of India for the procurement of wheat on April 1. But the farmers are yet to be paid,” he said. Capt then recalled that during his government, farmers were paid for their crops within 24 hours.
He then trained his guns at Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal. “Where is the surplus power that Sukhbir had been crying hoarse about all these years,” he said.
While interacting with the media, Capt Amarinder asserted that the Congress would form the next government in the state with a thumping majority. He denied that there was any factionalism in the party.
