Washington: Facebook has announced that its Messenger is now globally available for users who want to sign up without a Facebook Account.
According to thenextweb.com, David Marcus Messenger team member posted on his page to showcase the expanded logins. People without a Facebook account will be required to log in using a full name and phone number.
Facebook still suggests the users to sign up with their social account as this allows them to continue a conversation across various devices.
Earlier in June, Facebook made a move to separate Messenger from the social network by allowing users in the US, Canada, Venezuela and Peru to sign up without a Facebook account.
