Facebook glitch reposts old statuses, photos without permission

A Facebook glitch is causing the social networking service to repost old statuses of its users on their wall without permission.

Numerous Facebook users reported that their walls and their friend’s timeline on the social network were topped with some random old posts and photographs, leaving many confused and annoyed.

Though the cause of the glitch is still unexplained, a few people tweeted that the issue has something to do with the recent Facebook update on iOS, or the recent Year in Review feature.

Earlier last month, Facebook accidentally declared many of its users, even its founder Mark Zuckerberg as dead.

In a statement to PC Mag, Facebook confirmed that the company is aware of the issue and is investigating on it. However, it is yet not clear whether the glitch is anyhow related to its latest Facebook’s app update on iOS or any other flaw.
