New Delhi, Haryana and Maharashtra will go to polls on October 15th and counting will be held on October 19th, says EC

According to reports, the poll could take place in Haryana and Maharashtra in mid-October.
The term of the Haryana Assembly expires on October 27 and of the Maharashtra Assembly on November 08.
The upcoming Assembly Elections will be a test for the Narendra Modi-led BJP to ascertain if its magic still prevails, three months after it registered an amazing WIN in Lok Sabha. The Congress, which is the ruling party in both the states, is struggling with anti-incumbency.
Schedule of elections in Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand will be made public later. The term of the Jammu and Kahsmir and Jharkhand assemblies is scheduled to expire on January 03 and January 19 respectively.
Earlier, reports had suggested that the EC could schedule the polls in all the four states together.
