Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
CHANDIGARH: inDrive in association with Don Bosco Navjeevan Society Chandigarh and Chandigarh Municipal Corporation announces the launch of the DrivingNaari program in Chandigarh to empower women by providing them equal opportunities in the field of driving as a career. The programme will empower underprivileged women to become professional drivers and give them access to remunerative ‘livelihoods with dignity.

Ms. Isha Kamboj (HCS), Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh said that It’s a very good initiative in collaboration with MC Chandigarh, Don Bosco and inDrive and I hope it goes a long way in women empowerment. Such initiatives are very unique and very important for society. Specifically in view of the safety of the women of the society. So I hope that more such initiatives that are unique and which are specific to women are brought and such organizations are brought in for such types of social projects.
