Driver fled the scene on foot after crashing vehicle into lamp post: police

ONTARIO,A driver fled the scene on foot after crashing into a lamp post in Scarborough shortly after midnight, police say.
The collision occurred near Markham Road and Cougar Court.
Paramedics attended the scene but were not able to locate any patients.
Police have not released a description of the driver.
