Amritsar, May 23: The Dharmik Darshan Didar Yatra was today given a rousing welcome on its arrival in Amritsar city wherein the devotees welcomed it with Khalsai Jaho Jalal. At the local Lahori Gate, Bularia petrol pump, the Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPS) Mr Inderbir Singh Bularia led the procession that welcomed the yatra.
Mr Inderbir presented siropas to the Panj Piara. Addressing he crowd of devotees, Mr Bularia said that we were the blessed ones to have darshan of Guru Sahibans’ relics and be a part of the rich history. He added that the Punjab government has made major contribution in Sikh history by holding his yatra.
He appreciated the efforts of SGPC and Punjab government in holding this historical yatra. He said that braving the intense heat, the devotees have lined up to have darshan of the yatra. The area residents welcomed yatra with chhabeel and langar at various places.
The yayra was also welcomed at Guru Nanak Dev University, Khalsa College and other places.
