Ontario is reporting 1,487 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours. It represents an increase on the 1,248 new infections reported yesterday.
It is to be noted that the cases reported are up 30 per cent compared to this time last week with additional 10 deaths reported on Monday. 29 deaths were reported on Sunday.
About 60% of the new cases were reported majorly from Toronto (508) and Peel (392).
Province conducted 33,351 tests on Sunday.
The Ministry of Health says that the positivity rate was 4.1 per cent.
