* Union Health Minister JP Nadda will inaugurate the project
Chandigarh, Punjab BJP chief Kamal Sharma today said that work on 100 bed PGI Satellite Centre in Ferozerpur would be initiated in two months.
According to a statement issued from party headquarters here, Sharma said this after meeting Union Health Minister JP Nadda in New Delhi to discuss the project. He also thanked Union Health Minister JP Nadda to fulfill this long pending demand of the people of border areas.Sh.JP Nadda will himself come and inaugurate the project in ferozpur soon.
Sharma said that the Union Minister has assured him that funds would not be any problem for this hospital that would be equipped with world class health technologies.
Sharma said that having a satellite Centre of the PGI was the long pending demand of the people of border areas of the state. He said that this centre would have all modern health facilities and it would come as a big relief for the people of Ferozepur and other border areas who till now were deprived off the best health facilities in the region. He has thanked Modi government for awarding big projects in its first year of government
