Chandigarh, December 02- The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today described the latest statements of Captain Amrinder Singh as part and parcel of ‘Rotational Headship’ formula of Congress party to retain political space by indulging in a mud slinging campaign against the SAD.
In a statement here, SAD MP Prem Singh Chandumajra said under the ‘Rotational Headship’ program of the Congress party, one could easily deduce that Captain Amrinder Singh has just replaced Partap Singh Bajwa and the rest of the story is the same. He advised the current congress state head to plan his own strategy rather than acting as a puppet in the hands of Rahul Gandhi, otherwise, he would also be replaced after few months.
Daring Captain Amrinder Singh to draw a factual comparison between his and SAD-BJP term, Mr. Chandumajra said Amarinder should explain how the SAD- BJP government had been able to generate five times more revenue as compared to his term without imposing any extra tax. He said Captain may be amused or surprised to know that we have not only withdrawn his ban on recruitment in government services, but also run a fair and transparent recruitment drive to recruit more than 1.2 lakh youth during its 2007-12 term He said our government is again set to recruit 1.3 lakh youth in government services to fill vacancies in all departments.
Mr. Chandumajra advised Captain to change his 12 to 5 schedule and spare some time from his leisure to read growth stories of SAD-BJP government. He promised state congress head he would rub his eyes time and again to ensure that he was reading facts once he dared to study the initiatives taken by Punjab government in infrastructural development, governance reforms, social welfare, education, sports, skill development and many other sectors to ensure overall development of the state.
