Rama Mandi (Bathinda)- The newly elected Indian Youth Congress president, Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, has said the Congress high command is seriously examining the issue of leadership in the state and a final decision is expected any moment. He was talking to The Tribune on the sidelines of a felicitation rally at Grain Market here today.Responding to a query on different voices in the state unit of the party, mainly of top leaders, including former Chief Ministers Capt Amarinder Singh and Rajinder Kaur Bhattal and Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Partap Singh Bajwa, Warring said, “Our party is very clear about the desired leadership. Differences, if at all, are being heard. You will hear from the high command very shortly.”Reacting to the rally against drug menace in Amritsar on January 22 as announced by Capt Amarinder Singh, Warring said, “As a senior leader, Capt Amarinder Singh has very rightly called a rally on an important issue in his constituency on January 22. We all stand with him in his protest on a significant matter that is eating into the vitals of the spirit of the youth. We will press upon the ruling alliance to seek a CBIprobe into the drug case.”Reacting to the removal of Jathedar Balwant Singh Nandgarh of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib by the executive of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), the Indian Youth Congress president said, “There is nothing new in the move.
