CM MOURNS PASSING AWAY OF VETERAN AKALI LEADER KULDIP SINGH WADALA

CHANDIGARH,  Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has condoled the death of veteran Akali leader Kuldip Singh Wadala, who passed away this afternoon at his native village Wadala, Jalandhar, after a brief illness. The deceased, a former MLA from Nakodar, was the father of sitting MLA from Nakodar, Gurpartap Singh Wadala.Kuldip Wadal, who passed away at the age of 86, is survived by four sons and three daughters. In his condolence message, the Chief Minister said that Kuldip Singh Wadala was a seasoned politician, who made relentless efforts for the opening of a special corridor from Dera Baba Nanak to Sri Kartarpur Sahib, the birth place of first Sikh Guru Nanak Dev ji.The Chief Minister expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family on their sad loss.
