Cm, majithia and Maluka greets people on Id-ul-zuha

Chandigarh, Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today greeted the Punjabis especially the Muslim brethren on the eve of Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid).
In his message, the Chief Minister said “Id-ul-Zuha evokes feeling of brotherhood, charity and empathy for the needy and the underprivileged. Let us, reaffirm our resolve to further strengthen the spirit of brotherhood, unity of cultural bonds, peace and national integration”.
Mr. Badal appealed to the people to celebrate this festival in unison by rising above petty considerations of caste, colour, creed and religion.

Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia today extended his greetings to all the Punjabis’ particularly the Muslim brethren on the eve of Id-ul-Juha (Bakrid).
In a message, Mr. Majithia said that Id-ul-Zuha symbolizes supreme self-sacrifice and importance of divinity over material life. The festival conveyed the message of strengthening the spirit of fraternity and brotherhood for a peaceful world. The emphasis of the festival is on dedication, devotion, sacrifice, compassion and brotherhood among people from all walks of life, he added.
He appealed to the people to celebrate this festival in unison by rising above petty considerations of caste, colour, creed and religion.
Punjab Rural Development & Panchayat Minister Mr. Sikandar Singh Maluka today felicitated the people of Punjab especially the Muslim Community on the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-Zuha.
In his message Mr. Maluka said the Id-ul-Zuha was a festival which preached us the spirit of brotherhood, compassion and sympathy for the oppressed sections of the society. He called upon the people to celebrate this festival collectively by rising above parochial consideration of caste, colour, creed and religion.
