Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, November 10: Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today conveyed his best wishes to all the people of the state besides the countrymen and Punjabi diaspora settled across the globe on the auspicious occasion of Diwali and Bandi Chhor Diwas, which invokes the ethos of peace, communal harmony, amity and brotherhood.
In a message, Mr. Badal said that our people had been celebrating both these sacred Diwali andBandi Chhor Diwas since the times immemorial which reflected their devotion, high spirit (Chardi Kala), truthfulness and righteousness. He urged the people to commemorate this occasion with solidarity thereby rising above the petty considerations of religion, caste, color and creed.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal and Information & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia also expressed their good wishes to the people on the Diwali and Bandi Chhor Diwas.
