Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Senior Akali leader Ranjit Singh Talwandi on Thursday lost his son Jagteshwar Singh Talwandi (23), who succumbed to grievous injuries sustained during a fatal road accident here at PGI.
Disclosing this here, a spokesperson of the chief minister’s Office said that soon after hearing the sad news about the passing of Jagteshwar Singh in prime of youth, the Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal rushed to the local residence of Talwandi in Sector-39 to share his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family.
