Cm Badal announces to formulate a special plan for beautifying area around Jamaat-e-ahemdiya

cm* Terms SAD-BJP govt as most secular govt. of the Country

Qadian (Gurdaspur), Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today said that thestate government would soon formulate a special plan for beautifying the area around the Headquarters of Jamaat-e-Ahmediyya situated in the city.

Interacting with the leaders of Jamaat-e-Ahmediyya here after inaugurating the newly constructed roads, the Chief Minister said that devotees from across the globe converge here at this historic place every year, so it was the bounden duty of the state governmentto develop this place according to its magnitude. He announced that the inner roads of the Jamaat-e-Ahmediyya colony would also be soon constructed for which the necessary directions have been passed on to the officers. Mr. Badal said that soon the town planning department would conduct an extensive survey to develop this entire part as a ‘Model city’.

Terming the SAD-BJP alliance government as the most secular government in the country, the Chief Minister said that the state government has taken path breaking initiatives for the welfare of each and every strata of society. He said that it was a fact that the SAD-BJP alliance government was following the footsteps of the great Sikh Gurus who have taught them the message of communal harmony, love, brotherhood, peace and above all of egalitarian society with pure secular character. Mr. Badal said that was why that the state governments have always taken adequate steps to ensure the all-round development of every section of the society.

Earlier the Chief Secretary of Jamaat-e-Ahmeddiya Janaab Inaam Ghori, Janaab Zaheer Ahmed Khadim, Janaab Tanvir Ahmed Khaddim, Janaab Mohammed Nasim, Janaab Munir Khaddim, Janaab Jalaal-ud-din Nayar and Janaab Majid Mahmood thanked the Chief Minister for fulfilling the promise starting the work of covering the nullah flowing from the centre of city. They also expressed their gratitude to Mr. Badal for completing the work of strengthening and widening of the roads, as promised by him during his earlier visit. On the occasion these leaders also felicitated the Chief Minister with a plaque and a shawl.
