Clash between Sikhs & Divya Jyoti Jagran Sansthan’s supporters, police fired to stop them

TarnTaran,At least 2 dozen people got injured during clashes between Sikhs and Divya Jyoti Jagran Sansthan’s supporters.

According to Information Received Sikhs protesting in village Jodhpur in TarnTaran against an anti-panthic program organized by supporters of dead Ashutosh Noormehlia of the Divya Jyoti Jagran Sansthan. After this both groups got involved in a fight. Police opened fire to bring the situation under control and in the process, some got injured.
According to sources, Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala has got a gunshot at his leg and is in serious condition. 6 others have also been reported as injured during firing.
The situation in the village has been described as tense.
